Greetings Radio Free Silver Lake friends. April fool's day is well past, thus it is no joke that RFSL is back with a terrific Tuesday Ticket giveaway. This week that giveaway comes courtesy of fellow blogger and friend Passion Of The Weiss.
The giveaway takes the form of a couple of pairs of free entry to the great show being presented at Spaceland this Friday, April 9. That show consists of The Knux, joined by Nocando, 5 O'Clock Shadowboxers, and The Holloys. Since it is his ball of wax, one may find more info on the show at Passion Of The Weiss.
A quote found there lets us know these groups "were selected because they represent what the series is about: an aversion to orthodoxy, an insistence on innovation, and of course, shining light on highly gifted musicians." Based on that, RFSL is pleased at how this one reiterates how much variety and quality there is in the music delivered to us right here in our own community. How lucky can we be? Awesome!
