Video Free Silver Lake: Haim, Julia Holter, Sin Fant

1) Given that the sisters Haim seems to be exploding onto the world musical stage these days (recently signed by Columbia Records), my opportunity to feature them as an up and coming LA based band is probably limited.  For better or for worse, their basketball themed new video for their new song "Don't Save Me" lives up to the high standards set by their 3 song EP.

2)  L.A's  Julia Holter has also released a new video for "Goddess Eyes II", with the assistance of director Yelena Zhelezov.  According the the press release "[t]he video is in tribute to [Greek Playwright] Euripides and the literary spirit of the song that the video was conceived and directed." 

3) Once again, I offer you a new live video from a live performance of an Icelandic band at the 2012 Iceland Airwaves festival (which I missed...).  Here, enjoy the new video from Sin Fang (Sindri Már Sigfússon), recorded soon before his wife had a baby.  The song is "Walk With You" and (warning) is very mellow.
