Radio Free Silver Lake is pleased to present Geronimo Getty at the Escondite this Saturday night August 29. We are giving away a copy of Greyhound Blues, the band's debut LP on vinyl. See details below to enter the album giveaway.
Geronimo Getty is Aaron Kyle’s (Le Switch) outlet for his country-influenced songwriting, shades of Buck Owens and Guy Clarke. Every Saturday this month the band has played with some of the best country acts in Los Angeles in support of the newly released Greyhound Blues, their first full length album on vinyl. Geronimo Getty plays the final show of their August residency at the Escondite in downtown L.A. this week. Matt Ellis and alt honky tonkers adeline & the philistines open the evening.
In conjunction with the album release Kyle and the band are releasing a short film directed by an emerging filmmaker for each of the ten tracks on the album to bring a visual element to the stories held inside each song.
Greyhound Blues will be on sale Saturday night at the Escondite. Radio Free Silver Lake is giving away a copy to one lucky reader who can pick it up at Saturday’s show (winner must claim the LP in person at the show).
