I found this a year late, but you have captured the evolution of GB. There was one earlier performance at Ackerman/UCLA--Ed was still sitting down to play, but the wall of sound was amazing in that small space. I have been present at all the performances in LA that you chronicle. I personally feel that Disney Hall was the real turning point--you could just feel it. Of course the sold out Palladium wasn't too bad either. I am the proud Mom of Dan Rossen, LA native--so much fun to follow this band! Wendy Rossen

Grizzly Bear's mom reads this site? That's the coolest thing that's happened all week.
