A big hello out to all in the Radio Free Silver Lake community. Tuesday is here and brings with it a wicked good ticket giveaway opportunity. This is only "kind of" a repeat in that it brings with it ANOTHER pair of tickets to FYF, and on we roll...
And that ("kind-of" a repeat) opportunity? How about free entry for ANOTHER lucky RFSL reader and guest to the upcoming FYF Festival set for Saturday, September 4!!! Oh yeah, I guess that really isn’t much of a shocker seeing as the title of this post along with the image shown pretty much gives it away. No matter because it is such a sweet freebie to be offering that shock value isn’t needed to crank up the excitement level!
FYF Festival will be held at the Los Angeles State Historic Park at 1245 N. Spring Street, and will deliver a day of terrific music from many great bands. A quick sampler of bands involved includes The Rapture, School of Seven Bells, !!!, The Soft Pack, The Mountain Goats... Man I could go on and on; in fact, there will be so many great bands that it is too many to list them all here so take a spin by the FYF Festival website for a look at the amazing lineup on tap.
Yeah, we figured that would get your attention. So get in on the game and take a shot at winning a pair of standard general admission tickets (that makes it two [2] pairs available) so you and a friend can attend this one for free. To get in the mix drop an e-mail to “RFSLjoel(at)gmail(dot)com.” Include “FYF Festival 2010” in the subject line and Your Full Name, E-Mail Address, and Phone Number (along with any other comments you may have) in the message text. Make certain we receive that message before September 1.
