Show Spotlight: Marty Nation Benefit at the Satellite, Saturday April 2 at 7pm

This Saturday at the Satellite is a benefit for old school punk pioneer Marty Nation who was injured in a near fatal motorcycle accident. This eclectic lineup is a little off the Radio Free Silver Lake beaten path, but we hope you'll come out and support this very worthy cause. For more information, see Marty's tumblr page. Featured acts include: Candye Kane, Julie Christensen (Stone Cupid, Divine Horseman, Leonard Cohen), Johnny Nation and City Fritter. The Ben Powell Band (featuring Candye’s son Evan Caleb on drums), The Vampowers with Peter Andrus, Stereo Blues with Tony Marisco, The Jill Sharpe Band, The Bloody Brains with Hermann Senac, Daniel Ash (Bauhaus) special DJ highlight. $15 suggested donation. All proceeeds benefit the Marty Nation Fund.
