1) There was a time in my life where I used to say (maybe because I heard someone else say it) that there are two types of people: those that adore Jonathan Richman, and those that have never heard of him. Unfortunately, I've discovered far too many people that I dearly like who have never heard of Jonathan Richman to any longer feel comfortable placing so many of them in that "disfavored" category. Oh well. So, in order to possibly make the latter group's numbers slightly lower, here is the classic Jonathan Richman song, "That Summer Feeling". He'll be playing at the Echo on the 29th. Listen to the words, and be filled with nostalgia for times you never had:
2) The Lower Dens, who are playing at the Troubadour on Saturday (the 30th), have a relatively new video for "Propogation". Supposedly the video explores the theme of "MAN'S RELATIONSHIP TO TECHNOLOGY", but I see some guys in protective suits running around at night.
3) Iceland's FM Belfast have released a new video for the song "Delorean" (not to be confused with the Happy Hollows song of the same title). The song was released as a digital single on June 22. The video involves time travel and an Icelandic guy with an Amish-looking beard.
Folllllllkkkksssssss...when you don't send me your video, it don't get posssted. So email me at rfsljed at gmail dot com and get your video on this website.
It's different. If you were going to take a book and you wanted to turn that book into a movie.

Current legislature could work to change this situation soon, perhaps by providing a government-sponsored health program for the self-employed and other types of working professionals.
